It was in 1985 when Josep Cusc\u00f3 Berga<\/strong> and his sons with great dedication and spirit of improvement, built the current cellar. One son Joan Cusc\u00f3, is the winemaker of the cellar, trained in the Priorat and Champagne regions.<\/p>\n

This Cellar has a modern design and exceptional conditions for producing great wines<\/strong>. The location where it is built is on the mountain foundations, so we are on a big rock. The conditions to make a good wine and a good cava are unique, and they are due to the mountain characteristics; low humidity, constant temperature during the year and a slow traditional fermentation.<\/p>\n

Celler Cusc\u00f3 Berga located at the gates of the Garraf Natural Park and the unique Celler del Pened\u00e8s built on natural limestone rock of the Garraf Massif.<\/h3>\n

I must say that all our production are organic. <\/strong>This means that its 40 hectares of vineyards, where is practice organic farming. We rely on fertilizers of organic origin and the use of natural substances, while we do not use any kind of chemical or synthetic elements in our vineyards.<\/p>\n

In the cellar there is a small sample of all the grape varieties we work<\/strong>, witk a small museum of tools, machinery and equipment that was used first by our grandparents and later by our parents and also there is a multimedia room, where visitors can taste wines and cavas with music (jazz, blue, country..)<\/p>\n

It is located in the small village of Les Gunyoles d’Avinyonet<\/strong>, in the eastern part of Pened\u00e8s. Geographically, it is at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level.<\/p>\n

You can also enjoy one of the most charming landscapes of the Pened\u00e8s region. The visitor will be surprised with the spectacular view of the Garraf natural park that can be seen from the newer part of the cellar while having a glass of cava.<\/p>\n

We have participated in national and international competitions Girovi 2015-2024<\/strong>, winning Gold medals and also in the Prestigious International Competition Decanter<\/strong> World Wine Awards 2024 with a score of 90 Points.<\/p>\n
